While there were many documents that contributed to the ideas formed in the United States Constitution, perhaps the document that seemed to be the most prevalent and thought-provoking was The Constitution of Virginia. The Constitution of Virginia, specifically, was the first document that suggested the government’s power is derived from the people and that the government’s purpose is to serve the people at all times amenable to them. The document also suggested the idea that the government should be instituted to once again serve the people upon common benefit, protection, security, community, etc. And if the government wasn’t up to par, or up to people’s likings, then it was only in their power to alter or abolish it. Another key idea of the document was that no men were entitled to any special benefits or privileges, meaning that there are no social classes per say and that they cannot be born into power, like a King or Queen would. Therefore, the idea of a Parliament would not exist, which eventually would turn into a Democracy. All of these ideas were subsequently later translated into key components of the US Constitution and are now the rights and laws we live and abide by today.
I believe most of the documents had some sort of reflection on how the constitution turned out, but i believe the Constitution of Virginia. had a descent amount of influence. I believe this because in the Constitution of Virginia it talks about future generations and life, liberty, and pursuing happiness. Which is in fact directly in the Constitution. Another thing is that in the Virginian Constitution it says the government must serve the people. Which is one of the main points of our own Constitution. The final thing is that all people must be treated equally. More specifically that men can't have separate rights than other people. This is one of the most important things about the US Constitution today. I believe all these examples explain why the Constitution of Virginia contributed most to our own Constitution.
I believe that The Constitution of Virginia contributed the most to the United States Constitution. It had a lot of ideas to make Virginia a better place, that helped America, as a whole a better place with a stable government. One expample in the Constitution of Virginia that was put into the US Constitution was that the people have power. This gave the poeple right to vote on what they think will be right, and not have a King to control them. The Virginia Constitution states that no one can be born into power, which got rid of the King, and the US took that idea and thought of having a president instead. Lastly, The Virginia Constituion says that there are no social classes and that everyone is equal. This was put into the Constitution as well and said that people are no split up by the "class" they are in, making America a more friendly environment.
The document that I think contributed most to the United States Constitution was the The Constitution of Virginia. The first reason is because the Virginia Constitution stats that a government should protect the people of its area and the US Constitution does as well. The second reason is because the Virginia Constitution stats that represenatatvies of the people should be elected and that became part of the Bill of Rights. The last reason is that the Virginia Constitution stats that the government officials should be seperated or "Seperation of Powers". That is one the things that the US Constitution is built off
The document I believe that contributed the most to the Constitution of the United States was The Constitution of Virginia. The Constitution of Virginia stated that the government should serve their people, give people the right to voice opinions by the right of voting and made sure that laws were justifiable and approved. These ideas are all within the Constitution of the United States. In section three of the Constitution of Virginia it is stated that, "the government is, or ought to be, instituted for the common benefit, protection and security of the people, nation or community." In the preamble of our constitution, it is said to "promote the general welfare," which means that the government should be keeping its eyes out for the people and serving the people. That was one of the main ideas from the Virginia constitution that was adopted into the United States Constitution. Another main idea that people had the right to vote. And although in 1776, when the Constitution of Virginia was written, only white men were able to vote, it still gave rights to the people to have a say in what goes on in a community. This was also an important idea in the constitution because many amendments now qualify all American citizens to vote. The last idea that influenced the U.S. Constitution was that laws needed approval and needed to represent the people. This is a significant idea because now laws must pass through the Senate and the President and people are able to vote on laws. Therefore, all of these ideas like government representing the people and rights to vote were all adopted in the U.S. Constitution from the Constitution of Virginia.
I think the Magna Carta contributed the most to the U.S Constitution becuase it took power from kings(which was a big deal in england), and formed separation of powers, social contracts and limited gov't. Even though most of these ideas effected other countries it still spread some of its ideas to the U.S as well. :)
I think the Constitution of Virginia was the best to be picked. It provided ideas in which to help the government and people. Also that the people would be equal no upper or middle class.
I think that the document that contributed to the ideas for the United States Constitution was The Constitution of Virginia. I believe this, because all 7 sections in it supposted thoughts from the enlightened thinkers and also support our 6 elements of government. All the ideas presented are rules that we live by today. None of them were too far fetched or unrealistic to our government. It talked about the seperation of powers which has helped our government thus far, and it also mentions how people have to be okay with what the government is doing.
There are many documents that contributed to the ideas in the U.S constitution I think, but the constitution of Vriginia i would have to say had the biggest contribute. For example the everyone should be equal. It also talks about the younger ones are the people that make our world keep spinning well i'm pair affrasing of course, but they do talk about the younger generation in that kind of way. An the BIG thing our constitution focuse's on is it's all about the people and in the constitution of Virgina it says the people have the power.
