I think that the news has the greatest impact on public opinion. Most people are too lazy to read the newspaper and watching the news is an easy way to get caught up on current events. Unfortunatly, news stations choose which stories to cover and not to cover, and don't often tell both sides of them. It's easy for viewers to believe everything without questioning the facts because thinking about it requires effort.

I think that the media impacts my opinion the most because the media only tells what parts of a story that they want you to hear, not nessisarily what the people want to hear. The media also tries to put an angle on all of their storys so that it keeps people interested ands keeps them watching that channel. The media also puts their opinion into the story which is what you as a viewer tends to believe also

They end up hearing about current events that apply to the U.S. or to them locally. People are quick to believe the news because a lot of it is live feed so you obviously know it's true.
